Manchester City condemns the racist abuse against Semenyu and Gehi
Manchester City issued an official statement in which it strongly condemned the racist abuse suffered by Antoine Simenew during yesterday's match against Everton, stressing its categorical rejection of any form of discrimination in football. The club indicated in its statement that it welcomed the quick action taken by Everton and the police in order to identify the person responsible for the incident. Manchester City also expressed its feeling of great disappointment after receiving information that Mark Jehi was subjected to a series of hateful racist posts on social media yesterday evening. The club, in the same context, said that it will continue to provide its full support to Antoine Simegno and Mark Guehi, stressing that any form of racism or discrimination in the game cannot be accepted.
